On Tuesday 12th May, The Commerce Team Global in partnership with Cloudinary welcomed ecommerce and digital leaders to Gordon Ramsay’s Lucky Cat in Mayfair for an exclusive evening focused on visual commerce, AI and connected retail experiences.
The event brought together brands and commerce leaders for discussion around how retailers are creating seamless customer experiences across ecommerce and physical stores while balancing speed, scalability and commercial performance.
The evening conversations explored how brands are using AI-powered visual content, in-store ordering solutions and connected commerce experiences to reduce friction and missed sales opportunities. As customer journeys continue to span multiple channels, the ability to connect visual storytelling with operational execution is becoming increasingly important for commerce teams.
A key highlight of the evening was hearing from Jeannette Copeland, Technology Director at Ann Summers, who shared insight into how Ann Summers have connected online and in-store experiences through multi-channel ordering capabilities. The conversation with TCTG CEO, Paul Sanderson they shared how solutions can help retailers extend product availability beyond store inventory, improve customer experience and create a more unified omnichannel journey. Jeannette also shared how Ann Summers were navigating the changing landscape in managing expectations, compliance and budgets in a dynamic, visually led environment.
