Roles and Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the existing .NET-based OMS platform, ensuring stability, scalability, and performance.
• Identify and implement improvements to system architecture, data models, and integration workflows.
• Drive innovation by researching and applying new technologies or design patterns that improve speed, reliability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, QA, DevOps, and Operations teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
• Design and develop new features and services to support evolving business and customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing sustainable fixes.
• Champion code quality through reviews, testing, and adherence to engineering best practices.
• Document and communicate technical solutions, architectural decisions, and process improvements clearly and effectively.
• Contribute to modernisation initiatives, such as refactoring legacy code, implementing APIs, or adopting microservices.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, promoting a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.

Experience Requirement

Must-have:

• 5+ years of experience in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET 6 or newer).
• Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture, particularly in eCommerce or Order Management System (OMS) domains.
• Proven experience working with SQL Server, Entity Framework, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience integrating with ERP, CRM, and commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify Plus, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or similar).
• Familiarity with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, Kafka) and event-driven architecture.
• Understanding of DevOps principles (CI/CD, containers, cloud hosting, Git workflows).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills — able to balance short-term fixes with long-term improvements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across technical and non-technical teams.

Good to have:

• Experience with microservices, Azure Functions, or serverless architectures.
• Knowledge of inventory, logistics, or supply chain systems.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Familiarity with performance profiling, observability tools, and automated testing frameworks.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
