Brief

The Commerce Team Global (TCTG) partnered with Camelbak to migrate from their existing legacy system which needed to be completed within 3 months. The site needed to be launched on to the Vista Outdoor Realm which includes a further 20 brands which TCTG also manage and provide ongoing development support on.

Challenges

  • The site needed to be launched on to a multi brand realm with 20 other sites
  • Split the site to two separate offerings – Recreational / Tactical & Military
  • Migrate all existing content on to Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)
  • Bespoke tooling – lifetime warranty, courier integration (Fedex)

Solution

TCTG got to work on identifying existing pinch points and launched a new site on the Vista Master realm (20 sites in total) using Salesforce Commerce Cloud SFRA, this would provide efficiency and make challenges more identifiable to fix. The TCTG Team then utilised SFCC page designer for content management and integrated a custom configurator to personalise products.

The framework for Camelbak provided opportunity to combine all other Vista websites which would again provide efficiency and a seamless transitional deployment for the development team.

TCTG also integrated a number of key 3rd party software including:

  • SalesForce Commerce Cloud Page Designer - CMS
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud – multiple email service providers
  • Yotpo – review and ratings
  • Braintree – payment service provider

Impact

  • Increased efficiency for deployment of new site and brand
  • User experience improved providing a personalised customer journey
  • Removal of technical debt within the business
  • Establish digital growth for the US market which offer new channels to customers
