Orion Coders is based in India and offers solutions for businesses of all sizes to allow them to achieve their technology goals.

Paul Sanderson, Director of The Commerce Team Global, said: “We are delighted to announce the merger of The Commerce Team and Orion Coders. The two companies had already forged a strong partnership with each other and joining forces will allow us to combine our expertise, skills and services so we can better serve clients all over the world.

“The creation of The Commerce Team Global is an exciting next step for everyone involved. We are looking forward to exploring new opportunities and further developing our innovative practices to deliver a truly amazing experience for our customers.”

Both companies had already experienced significant growth throughout 2022 and it is hoped the merger will allow the new firm to expand and enhance their work in retail verticals, including fashion, homeware and luxury brands.

The Commerce Team Global also plans to build on the existing corporate social responsibility work which was being carried out by both teams. This has included supporting grassroots causes, deforestation initiatives and help for those in poverty and seeking refuge in the UK and overseas.

There are already plans in place to encourage more women to work in the technology sector with initiatives to support female developers in India to allow them to accelerate their career and work in a safe and inclusive environment.
