The Opportunity: We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Sales and Marketing Manager to join our growing team. This role requires a dynamic individual who can effectively bridge the gap between our marketing efforts and sales outcomes. You will play a crucial role in generating qualified leads, and nurturing prospects directly contributing to our continued success in the ecommerce systems integrations landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demand and Lead Generation & Nurturing:
       
    • Execute B2B demand and lead generation campaigns across digital channels (email, social media, content syndication) to attract potential clients
    •  
    • Develop and manage lead nurturing sequences to guide prospects through the sales funnel utilising systems and tools (Apollo, CRM etc)
    •  
    • Qualify inbound and outbound leads and identify new sales opportunities
  •  
  • Sales Pipeline Management:
       
    • Actively prospect for new business opportunities through various channels, including cold outreach, networking, and referrals
    •  
    • Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline, from initial contact to closing
    •  
    • Conduct demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients with support from the wider team
    •  
    • Negotiate sales agreements, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to company standards
  •  
  • Marketing Campaign Execution:
       
    • Assist in the development and execution of B2B marketing campaigns, including content marketing, email marketing, and social media initiatives
    •  
    • Ensure all marketing communications align with our brand guidelines and messaging, reflecting our high standards.
    •  
    • Contribute to the creation of sales collateral, presentations, and case studies with support from the marketing and design team

  • Client Relationship Management:
       
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing B2B clients, demonstrating our commitment to their success.

    • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions, showcasing our expertise
  •  
  • Market Research & Analysis:
       
    • Conduct market research to identify new trends, competitor activities, and potential growth areas, adapting strategies to embrace change.
    •  
    • Track and report on sales and marketing performance metrics, using data to inform future strategies
  •  
  • Collaboration & Communication:
       
    • Work closely with the wider marketing and Labs teams to ensure alignment between marketing efforts and sales objectives, fostering strong teamwork
    •  
    • Provide feedback from the market to inform development and service improvements

Person Specification: Sales and Marketing Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable individual who embodies our values of commitment, teamwork, expertise,change, high standards, and passion.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a combined sales and marketing role, or dedicated roles in both, specifically within a B2B environment
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and contributing to successful marketing campaigns
  • Demonstrable experience in B2B demand and lead generation and pipeline management
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Zoho, Hubspot etc) and marketing automation tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or demonstrable CPD and experience with transferable skills

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of the B2B sales cycle and effective sales methodologies
  • Familiarity with digital marketing concepts (SEO, content marketing, email marketing, social media for business)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively to a business audience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Analytical mindset, capable of interpreting data to drive decisions and demonstrate expertise
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
