Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide accurate testing efforts based on the requirements.
• Analyse the requirement and document it.
• Design test cases, test data, and test runs as per the test plan.
• Identify, document, and retest defects; assess the impact of fixes or new implementations.
• Participate in Agile ways of working or other defined SDLC methodologies.
• Perform test execution as per strategy — including Regression, Smoke, and Sanity testing.
• Perform Functional, UI, and End-to-End testing.
• Conduct compatibility testing across scoped browsers and devices.
• Execute integration and third-party testing.
• Collaborate closely with the Development team to achieve common delivery goals.
• Communicate testing progress, risks, and results with stakeholders.
• Provide support for issue troubleshooting when required.
• Adhere to defined QA processes, tools, and guidelines.
• Raise quality risks or concerns promptly to ensure timely mitigation.

Experience Requirement

Must-have:

• Proven experience in software testing of web-based applications.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, BigCommerce, Shopify, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of cross-browser testing and browser technologies.
• Experience in test scenario identification, test case writing, prioritisation, and reporting.
• Good knowledge of quality gates and risk-based testing approaches.
• Solid understanding of the eCommerce domain.

Good to have:

• Knowledge of automation testing using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Familiarity with API, Web Performance, and Accessibility testing.
• Exposure to tools such as JMeter, WebPageTest, LambdaTest, JIRA, or similar.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant certifications (e.g. ISTQB Foundation) are an added advantage.
